You may have noticed a few changes on this site recently. WOO HOO! First off, the postal code feature on the top right hand side. You can now specify the number of kilometers you’d like to search on. Tip: Start small and work your way up. If you search a larger distance you’ll get a LOT of results and it may take awhile for the page to display. Thanks to Zhenya for suggesting this feature!
Secondly, you may notice a title next to your name if you’ve been reviewing. I’ve added these fun titles starting at 10 reviews which is the *Inside Scoop OTG* Parent. Keep reviewing and see your title change all the way to Expert!

Third, I’m slowly creating separate sub-directories for camps, birthday parties, shopping, services, family-friendly restaurants and cafes, family-friendly hotels and resorts, and of course activities and programs for kids! This will make it easier for you to find stuff. Under the menu at the top where it says “Kids On-The-Go Directory” you can see Shopping and Camps if you do a mouse-over. You can now browse camps by type, age, location, and other handy categories. (If your kids have been to a camp that’s listed, please share your thoughts! My oldest is 3 years and I’m nervous at the thought of sending her to camp at age 4 or 5 without knowing what other parents think!)
Lastly, on the right menu, at the bottom, I’ve added the latest listings in the directory so you can check out places as they’re added if they’re in your area.
One more thing- I’ll be removing the Events and Sales forum from the menu because they’re not hugely popular and they’re getting too much spam. If you run into a great kids event or sale, please use the Contact form (top menu, right hand side) and copy and paste the info there and I’ll make sure it gets posted. OR feel free to comment on the Fun for the Month post if it’s a kids or family event.
