Holiday Fun at the Bee from Dec 28 – Jan 7, 2013.

Birthday Parties
We are a one stop party shop specializing in babies, toddlers and preschooler parties!
Birthday Parties $199 all summer long! Face painting, invitations, balloons, coffee, tea, juice, tableware and decorations! (Theme packages, cakes and lootbags can be added on.)
The Supreme Package is the best bang for your buck with everything included (except lootbags which can be added on). Theme decor, theme costumes, theme craft activities and theme snacks! Our special themes are:

Emergency Care
1/2 day childcare, holidays, PA days or short-term care, open 7 days a week!
Child minding is offered in a safe, clean and friendly environment by an ECE trained staff member. Perfect for parents who are looking for short term care, have appointments, or simply need a break.
Drop & Shop
Drop off the kids and take a break! Let the kids have fun at Bizzy Bee while you run errands.
$11 per hour or 1 hour of FREE child care when you shop at our participating sponsors (siblings 1/2 price). Children must be 18 months+.

Activities We Did:
My son loved the small ball pit, slide and toys. He also enjoyed sitting at the small tables and going in and out of the toy houses.
Good to Go!:
This is a great place for toddlers and an excellent intro to playcentres. Everything is small and colourful, big and sturdy which is perfect for their clumsy active little bodies. The seating area is great if you go with a group (or even on your own!). The space is small so you can always see your kids. Sit back and have a coffee!
I have been to a couple birthday parties there and they were fantastic.
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
It can get crowded. Parking can be difficult to find/ expensive. Bizzy Bee’s is located on the second level inside the mall so it does require a bit of a hike to get there.

Activities We Did:
My little guy played with toy cars, a ride in car, activity table, baby toys, playhouse and was happily sitting in the ball pit.
Good to Go!:
Small place but cozy with lots and lots of toys! There’s a small eating area for kids and I used a high chair for my baby. There’s also couches where adults can sit back and relax! It’s one room so you can see your kids from any viewpoint which is great.
When I went there was complimentary tea, coffee, juice, water and pastries. You can use their sink, microwave and toaster oven.
The owner is very nice and used to be a preschool teacher. I wouldn’t hesitate leaving my children in her care for their drop-off babysitting service (starts at 18 mos).
The place is clean and well organized for having so many toys!
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
It’s small so it gets crowded fast and hard to move around. There were 15 children when I went and that was plenty for me!
Quick Tips for Others:
12-3pm is more quiet and a good time to come with baby (when all the toddlers and preschoolers are napping at home!).
I parked on a side street for free.
You need to leave your stroller on the main floor under the stairs (Bizzy Bee is on the second floor). I had no issues but if you have an expensive stroller you might want to leave it at home or in the car!
