- No outside food allowed in.
- Socks only in the baby area.
- OEYC drop-in times tend to fill up quickly (each centre has a maximum capacity) so try to come close to the start time to ensure you get a spot!

Activities We Did:
Play time, snack time, circle time (songs and reading a story book).
Good to Go!:
Very friendly staff.
Toys are rotated on a regular basis and arts/crafts are different every time I’ve dropped in.
Snacks are super healthy and pre-portioned on plates. They always include 1 cracker, fruit (I’ve had banana, watermelon, cantalope), cheese and veggies (cucumber, carrot).
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
The washroom is small and is located down the hallway from the OEYC. The change table is in an awkward position over 2 of the 3 bathroom sinks.
Quick Tips for Others:
Snack time and circle time take place during the last 30 minutes of the program.
Parking is free.
This place has moved to the second floor of 600 East Mall. Look for the prominent OEYC sign on the north end of the plaza. The OEYC is part of the George Hull Centre for Children and Families, which provides a lot of support:

Activities We Did:
Chatting with mommies & visiting the infant area
Good to Go!:
There were lots of toys and different areas for different age groups. It is free and the staff seem enthusiastic and nice.
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
Parents do not remove their shoes and walk on the mats that the kids roll around on
Quick Tips for Others:
They are moving across the street into the plaza offices mid November

Activities We Did:
Played with baby toys, participated in circle time
Good to Go!:
- My baby had a good time. There were a fair number of baby toys, soft mats for baby to sit/ crawl on, small soft gym structure.
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
- Shoes allowed in (but not in the baby area) so it’s clean, but not that clean for my crawling baby who wants to go everywhere.
- It’s a small baby area (but not as small the Toronto Willowdale OEYC). Some children kept coming into the baby area which made it too crowded and my friend and I really had to watch to make sure our babies weren’t being stepped on!
- You can’t bring in baby snacks into the room. While the older kids were having a snack (cheese and crackers and veggies), I was in the front area by the desk feeding my baby in his stroller. I understand about allergies, but I think baby jarred food should be let in. At least there were chairs for me to sit on in the lobby while I was feeding my baby!
Quick Tips for Others:
- If you have a baby, check the calendar and go when they have drop-ins for babies only. There will be more room for your baby to crawl
around!
- You can bring your stroller inside and park it where the coat hooks are.
- I heard they’re moving to a new location inside the plaza across from where they are currently, in a few weeks. It might be on the second floor with NO elevator access so call ahead to confirm. You might need to leave your stroller at home or in the car!
I’d come to this place again but during a baby-only drop-in!
