    Recommend?: Good to Go!
    Date of Visit: Dec 2011
Event/ Program/ Class Name: Pleasure Ice Skating

    Activities We Did:

We had fun on the ice for about an hour. Ate some chunky fries!

    Good to Go!:

Got off at Queen subway station and walked over to the rink.
Change area with lockers. Bring change & a pad lock in case all the ones you pay for are taken up.
This outing was fun! I skated around as I got my 3 year old used to the ice in her boots.
The ice is very well maintained a this rink.
The radio was on, tuned to 103.5.
We then had chunky fries and headed home since it was a but chilly.

    Quick Tips for Others:

There is a brand new change area and snack bar. Reasonably priced.
You can also get hot dogs, fries, burgers, from the street vendors.
The Zamboni machine cleans the ice twice a day.
(But I know from experience that on days where they are events in the square the Zamboni often doesn’t pass because it’s too hard to get the skaters off the ice).
Super close to the Eaton Centre and the McDonalds on the 2nd floor.
