    Recommend?: Good to Go!
Event/ Program/ Class Name: Tumbling Toddlers Class

    Activities We Did:

They have real gymnastics equipment (high bars, beam, rings, vault, running trampoline, etc)and the kids get to use all of it in appropriate ways.

    Good to Go!:

The weekend classes are crowded, we do the ones on the weekday and are one of 3 kids in the class. It’s pretty laid back, your child can do or not do as much as they are comfortable with but it’s fun to expose them to climbing ropes, the beam and uneven bars at this age. It is structured. They start with group circle time with music, warm up exercises and stretching.

    Then there are different stations
    1) circuit: Mats are arranged in different ways, slides, ladders, rings, parallel bars which the instructor asks them to do different things. Stork position, pencil rolls, tuck rolls, somersaults, handstands, bear crawls, etc.

    2) trampoline: the kids take turns jumping on the large trampoling and are asked to do different jumps (tuck jump, star jumps, etc.)

    3) vault or bars or beam or rope swing: different strength exercises on these. I think the rope swing is my daughter’s favorite.

My daughter’s gross motors skills have improved by leaps and bounds, her confidence too. She absolutely loves the classes and her teacher, it burns off a lot of energy which is always a good thing.

We did the spring session and it’s a little pricey for 45min but honestly my daughter is starving by the end she’s burned off so much energy and I don’t think she could do it much longer than that.

    Quick Tips for Others:

Go during the week if you can since the weekends are very crowded. They offer a free trial class so you can check it out.
