Activities We Did:
Picked apples, sampled apple bread, jam, butter and cider. visited all the houses and lifestyle back in the mid 1800′s. the live band there was awesome, so entertaining although the police car was making a lot of noise, the band stayed focus& great
Good to Go!:
although it was half of the regular price, the visit alone was worth it and wouldn’t mind going back in the future at full price of $6. it drizzled a little but sun broke through. my friends and i had a great time.
Quick Tips for Others:
parking was a little tough but because it was a festival so more visitors. best to visit the actual museum after you have visited everything else outside.

Good to Go!:
There were alot of activities on for the kids and we spent quite some time going round to each activity.
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
There was an entrance fee and also a charge for some of the inside activities.

Activities We Did:
Trick or treating!
Good to Go!:
There were 9 buildings done up in different themes with staff dressed up and playing their part e.g. mad scientist, fortune teller, dracula,
witches. The staff give you a map and a sheet with a question for each building e.g. What time does the fortune teller’s clock say? And the kids need to answer the question to get the treat. My daughter got candy, crayons, hot apple cider, chips and the last house had hot chocolate and timbits but we had to leave early so didn’t get to go for that. I thought everything was really well done. We spent about an hour there- could have spent a bit longer. The property is perfect for Halloween fun. Trees are turning colour too so it’s very pretty right now!
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
No food or drink sold onsite and nowhere to eat inside. Also, I went on the Saturday and it didn’t start until 5pm. Today (Sunday) it opens at 3pm. I would have preferred to go earlier yesterday because 5pm is too close to dinner time!
Quick Tips for Others:
It’s hard to go in and out of the small buildings with a stroller especially if it’s busy with lots of kids trying to get in and out. My husband ended up waiting outside with my little one and the stroller while I took my daughter in. Also, the paths aren’t paved so you might want to bring a stroller that can handle a bit of “off-roading”!
