Activities We Did:
Colouring, teeter-totters, ride-on, play house, baby dolls, magnetic drawing board, puzzles, circle time, and more.
Good to Go!:
I have a very active toddler, so the fact that this OEYC is in a gymnasium is wonderful. She seemed to have just as much fun running around the gym as partaking in the activities themselves.
There are a good amount of varied activites here to keep anyone interested. The activites are all set up on mats like “stations” all over the gym. It seems very well organized, and because of the size of the place, you can see your child at all times as everything is nicely spread out.
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
I wish this place had longer hours!
Quick Tips for Others:
The parents and staff clear the gym for the circle time at the end. They don’t seem to frown upon the “wanderers” who would prefer to keep playing.

Activities We Did:
Open Door programs currently run Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:30-11:30am both days. At the end there is a “circle time” for the last 30 minutes!
Good to Go!:
This program is held in the BIG gymnasium in the Trinity Presbyterian Church. There is free parking and it’s a short walk from the Bayview Subway station.
The gymnasium is divided into 2 main sections (separating the ride-on toys from all the other toys).
To the left there is a water play area, play-doh table, arts table, an easle with paint & a drawing table with chalk & markers.
In the middle section there is a felt board, 6 square mats with different toys on each one (e.g.: puzzles, Mr Potato Head, Farm & animals, Ramp & cars, Peg Game)
The section to the right has the baby section placed on a big foam mat. It has some interesting toys for non-movers. Next to it is the reading section with books & bean bag chairs. Next to that is the snack tables & kitchen. Snacks are always provided by the centre – just serve yourself whenever you want.
The washroom has a changing table.
Not so Much/ Suggestions for Improvement:
No mini-toilet or training seat for toddlers who are potty training.
Quick Tips for Others:
Since this is a big gymnasium it is recommended to keep your shoes ON. This is NOT a socks only facility.
